Haydum

This piece of art is of my character Haydum and it's for my final art exam. Haydum's name is a pun on the name Hayden and the star in the constellation Taurus named, Hyadum I. I can't say much about him because I'm doing a comic with him but he's alien from another galaxy. I worked on this at home on Photoshop and with my Wacom bamboo tablet. This took a couple of layers, but it turned out pretty nice~

Here's another gif where we used the liquify tool in photoshop. I used to use this tool when I was younger and I always loved it so I guess I'm really comfortable with it.

Whitespace gif

We're still working on gifs. This one is kinda odd but it was still fun to make. These are our whitespace gifs and we used pictures from our teachers Pinterest.

Floating flowers

I did this piece to vent out my feelings because I wasn't feeling to well at school so here~ I've notice I like using spatters and drips in my paintings especially if I'm using watercolor like here. I'm giving this to a friend for her birthday so yay.

Winter Wonderland

I made this picture for our school's Winter Wonderland art show. This was made in Corel Painter 12. I used different blues and purples to compliment the wintery feels. 

Serenity

I created this piece in Corel Painter 12. I'm very proud of the shading and highlighting. I used darker versions of the pink I used and the dodge tool. The hair was fun to do too! This character's name is Serenity. She's an alien from a planet I need to make a name for haha *sobs*

Where's my bird?! (gif project)

So this week we learned how to make GIFs (Graphic interchange format) in photoshop. This is of my character, Xiao. Xiao is 8 years old and obsessed with birds.  It took a lot of frames to do it but i think it turned out nicely.
